So I've been playing around with something new.

A few of the women who model for me for my regular work are also into cosplaying. Because of this, I've taken an interest in cosplay and have gone along to a couple of cosplay photo shoots (as a photographer - there isn't much I'm able to cosplay as besides perhaps Gothic Grizzly Adams).

It's been a lot of fun, and has inspired me to do some photo edits of some of the photography I've been doing. As I go along, I'll be posting some of these edits into my own DA gallery. It's a nice departure from some of my regular digital painting, flexing some artistic muscles that I normally don't use.

I don't consider myself a photographer at all - I can get by with composition and such enough for photographs for reference for my illustration work, but am trying to expand my range a bit with these photo shoots. It'll take more work to get used to the limitations of my new camera, but it's something I'm really enjoying.
